Our Story

Protect Your Tail is a family-owned clothing company that was born with a mission to provide safe and sustainable fashion that was designed with the sun in mind for all those who love the outdoors. Our family is full of avid outdoor adventurers from boating, to hiking, to golfing, to outdoor yoga. You name an activity under the sun, someone in our family is probably doing it. Skin cancer gets personal for us, as our grandmother was diagnosed with melanoma but became one of the many amazing survivors. We’ve been on a mission ever since to protect tails and keep all outdoor adventurers safe from the sun.

 

We create the most desirable daily sun protection experience by blending classic fashion with luxurious UPF 50+ fabrics into everyday wardrobe staples. Our fabrics block 98% of UVA/UVB rays. Our entire range of fabrics have been independently tested and certified with the maximum UPF 50+ sun protection rating. Our products are designed to help you look good and stay protected so you can enjoy the outdoors worry-free, while also caring for the planet.
